Te Reo Rerenga

Kia Ora everyone,

Yesterday, we started doing some more Maori and started a different topic which is Rerenga which means flow in English. Our teacher Mrs Henderson told us to find some Maori proverbs and see what they mean in English. This is the Maori and English proverb that is used in this slideshow-Pēnā tonu te rere a te kererū i te wā e mau ana tēnā kākano, ā, tata noa ki te horonga o tērā kākano, o te whanake-  The flight of the New Zealand pigeon is like that during the time that the fruit lasts and until just before the seeds of the cabbage tree falls. I hope you enjoy our slideshow on Rerenga and understand what we are talking about.
Happy Blogging.
